\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

The vocabulary used in poker includes a variety of terms such as Aces Up, two pair, add-ons, and more. Some players are referred to as “blinds” and are required to bet before the cards are dealt. VPIP stands for voluntarily put in pot, which refers to the amount of money players voluntarily put into the pot before the flop. Players with high VPIPs are often called whales. Players who primarily play poker online are often known by their screen names.<\/p>\n

The highest-ranking hands in Poker are those that have two distinct pairs of cards, plus a high-ranking card. Any tie is broken by the high card, but only if the tying hands have at least one pair. In other words, if two players have a pair, but the second is high, the third will win. Another tie-breaker is a straight. If there are more than two players, two separate games are played.<\/p>\n

The betting intervals in Poker vary according to the variants. The player who ante up places money into the pot first has the privilege to make the first bet, and each subsequent player must place a certain number of chips into the pot equal to the contribution of the player before him. This player is called an active player. In this variant, betting intervals last a few seconds.
