While the mainstream media has continued to perpetuate the narrative that Donald Trump’s victory was influenced by Russia, it appears that another country would benefit more from his victory than anyone. The primary beneficiary under a Trump presidency would ultimately be Israel.
During Barack Obama’s reign over America, U.S relations with Israel were tight due to Obama’s vote against Israeli expansion. However, despite this, Obama’s Secretary of State, John Kerry has stated that no other U.S administration has done nearly as much for Israel as Obama. According to Kerry,
“Our military exercises are more advanced than ever. Our assistance for Iron Dome has saved countless Israeli lives. We have consistently supported Israel’s right to defend itself by itself, including during actions [in] Gaza that sparked great controversy.”
Regarding one major issue, Obama and Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu did indeed seem to but heads, and that was Iran. Israel completely rejected the Iranian Nuclear Agreement reached in 2015 that was deemed by many as a progressive move.
Throughout Obama’s presidency, Israel struck Syria on multiple occasions, with little attention from the U.N. Shortly after the Syrian war began, Israel struck Syria multiple times during 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. This information is important due to Iran and Syria’s mutual defense agreement.
Iran has continued to attempt to control its own oil supply despite the U.S-Israel establishment’s obvious interest in such affairs.
With Obama now being out of presidency, and Donald Trump in his place, it seems as though times may be changing. It is also worth noting that Theresa May is the new prime minister of the United Kingdom, and she has consistently stated that Britain and the U.S will no longer invade sovereign nations to “make the world in their own image.” She has also stated that it is important to push back in “Iran’s aggressive efforts” to increase its “arc of influence from Tehran through to the Mediterranean.”
As it stands there is no evidence which indicates that Iran has been building a nuclear bomb. Furthermore, according to Colin Powell’s leaked emails, Israel does, in fact, have an artillery of at least 200 nuclear bombs. There is no secret regarding the fact that Iran’s influence has spread from Tehran to Iraq, through Syria, and to Lebanon.
Currently, the U.S is contemplating on a bill that would “authorize the use of the United States Armed Forces to achieve the goal of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.” As a matter of fact, Congress could actually give direct orders for the U.S to strike Iran, without any evidence of a threat. Now, add to this, that Trump has implemented a travel ban that includes Iran, a nation that has never attacked the U.S.
If we did go to war with Iran, things could become quite serious, and very quickly. Why? Iran has a massive ground force that includes countless voluntary militias. China and Russia have both warned the U.S to not strike Iran in the past. While Russia could work together with the U.S, it’s obvious that China would not. According to the Chinese government, a war with the U.S is becoming more of a “practical reality” now that Trump is in office.
Sadly, if this happens, we could see a massive unrest throughout the globe. Not only would it be a war with Iran, but we could also see China and Russia becoming involved. Of course, the U.S has been pushing for war with Iran for around 60 years now, and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. However, it would appear that the tensions are heating up quite quickly now, even with an “anti-establishment” candidate in office.
