It appears relations between the United States and the Philippines have deteriorated substantially in the past few weeks. The Philippines have officially severed ties between the two countries.

This occurred when the President of the Philippines was speaking at the Great Hall of the people in Bejing, China.

“In this venue, your honours, in this venue, I announce my separation from the United States. Both in military, not maybe social, but economics also. America has lost.”

“I have separated from them so I will be dependent on you (China) for a long time, but don’t worry we will also help,”

He also made it very clear that he has every intention to seek cooperation with Russia as well. China welcomed Duterte (president of the Philippines) with open arms and even had a full marching band at the greeting ceremony this is something that does not happen often. This is a very large setback for political faction. It appears that Russia and China are quite talented when it comes  to making diplomatic deals and reestablishing peaceful ties with countries who were once enemies.

At the moment the Alliance is contained to Russia, China, Syria, Iran, and the Philippines. This causing the United States to be somewhat isolated. Who can blame them, though? When a country such as the United States does things like overthrow elected governments, silence opposition through propaganda, and even go so far as to invade countries unlawfully.

It is clear the United States needs to do something differently in order to gain peace between all other nations. Just what is it going to take to bring peace between the United States and countries like Russia, China, and the Philippines?

We are clearly doing something wrong if leaders of other countries are having to go so far as to curse when they make statements. We are hitting nerves we should be avoiding altogether.
